Role Overview: We are seeking a highly strategic and result driven Regional Business Head – Maharashtra who will
lead the business operations across the region. This role demands a result driven professional with a strong
understanding of Maharashtra’s Agri landscape and proven experience in scaling Agri-business solutions in the
region.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Growth & Strategy
• Develop and implement regional business plans aligned with organizational goals
• Drive revenue and profitability across different verticals
• Identify emerging business opportunities, new markets, and potential partnerships
• Ensure consistent achievement of business targets and operational excellence
2. Sales & Operations Management
• Lead sales planning, forecasting, and execution for all business verticals
• Oversee farmer acquisition, retention, and conversion activities through direct and channel-based
strategies
• Meet revenue targets on a month-on-month basis
• Monitor supply chain, logistics, and operational processes to ensure timely service delivery
• Maintain healthy sales pipelines and ensure efficient collection cycles
3. Team Leadership
• Build, train, and manage a high-performing regional team including Zonal Managers, Territory Managers,
District Sales Officers, and other field staff
• Drive accountability, ownership, and performance culture within the team
• Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and mentoring sessions
4. Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
• Build and nurture partnerships with FPOs, cooperatives, institutional buyers, and Agri input suppliers
• Collaborate with government bodies, financial institutions for business expansion
• Strengthening the company’s visibility and credibility in the regional Agri ecosystem
5. Market Intelligence & Reporting
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and farmer behavior to refine business strategies
• Provide data-driven insights and reports to senior management
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure regional performance

Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong understanding of Agri-input, output, and digital Agri-service models
• Proven leadership in scaling agri-business operations in rural markets
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical ability with a focus on targets and execution
• Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi and English

Educational Qualification:
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Agriculture, Agri-Business Management, Rural Management, or related domain
• MBA/PGDM preferred
