Role Overview: The Sales Manager – F&V will lead the Output & Market Linkage business across the state, driving
procurement, aggregation, and market access for farmers through the company’s digital ecosystem. This role
demands strong experience in Agri produce sourcing, institutional tie-ups, and digital market linkage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Strategy & Market Development
- Develop and execute the Output Business plan for Maharashtra, aligned with overall company objectives.
- Identify key commodities, potential markets, and buyers across domestic and export channels.
- Build strategic partnerships with HORECA, processors, exporters and institutional buyers.
2. Procurement & Aggregation
- Lead farmer-level procurement through digital and physical channels.
- Ensure efficient aggregation, quality control, and logistics coordination.
- Develop and manage collection centers, warehousing, and last-mile delivery frameworks.
3. Market Linkage & Partnership Management
- Onboard and manage buyers and institutional partners for commodity offtake.
- Negotiate pricing, volume commitments, and long-term trade arrangements.
- Maintain strong relationships with large agribusiness entities.
4. Digital Integration & Data Utilization
- Drive adoption of digital platforms for procurement and traceability.
- Collaborate with tech and product teams to enhance market linkage modules and transaction efficiency.
- Utilize data insights for demand forecasting, pricing decisions, and supply optimization.
5. Sales & Revenue Accountability
- Own the Output Business P&L for Maharashtra.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
6. Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and mentor the output and procurement teams across districts.
- Align field teams, partner FPOs, and buyers to ensure smooth business execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams for finance, operations, and technology support.
7. Farmer & FPO Engagement
- Strengthen relationships with farmers and FPOs through awareness programs and capacity building.
- Facilitate price transparency, digital trading, and market access support.
- Ensure farmers benefit from better pricing, timely payments, and improved market reach.
8. Reporting & Business Intelligence
- Track and report procurement volumes, partner performance, and buyer demand trends.
- Generate market insights for strategic decision-making.
- Maintain dashboards on business progress and partner engagement metrics.

- Deep understanding of Agri output value chain, market linkage and HORECA Sales
- Strong network of institutional buyers, processors, and FPOs.
- Experience in digital Agri-platforms and data-driven operations.
- Leadership, analytical, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
Educational Qualification:
- Agri Business Management
- MBA / PGDM in Agri Business or Rural Management preferred.
